John Edward Swarden, 62, Indiana, formerly of Patton, died Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The son of Michael and Joan (Rickard) Swarden, he was born August 10, 1957 in Spangler, PA.
John had been employed by Season All Industries and also for Indiana University of Pa.
He was a 1976 graduate of Cambria Heights High School who loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and wood working. He also served as President of the Indiana County Bow & Gun Club for over 10 years.
John will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.
Surviving are his children, Lindzey (Joshua) Golembesky, Shelocta and Paul Swarden and his fiancée, Brienna, Shelocta; grandchildren, Xaviar Golembesky and Paul “PJ” Swarden; Shelocta; and a sister, Ann Jo Gorka, Parma, OH.
Preceding John in death were his parents and a brother, Ray Lauver.
Funeral arrangements will be private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
