According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, as of noon today, the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Indiana County increased to 53 with four deaths. The number reached 51 on Sunday.
Armstrong County’s total of positive cases increased to 38, while deaths remained at two. Jefferson County went up to three positive cases and Cambria County jumped to 19, with one death. Westmoreland County positive cases climbed to 286, with three more deaths, bringing the total to 16.
The state is reporting that the number of positive cases in Pennsylvania reached 33,232, an increase of 948 from Sunday, and deaths climbed to 1,204. In the past 24 hours, 92 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19 in Pennsylvania. The 26 to 49 year old age group has the most positive cases with 39 percent of the 33,232 cases.
While 33,232 have tested positive in the state, 129,720 have tested negative. In Indiana County, 439 have tested negative.
