Another summertime event has been cancelled due to concerns over Covid-19.
State police have announced the cancellation of all of their summer camp programs, including all Camp Cadet programs, Commissioner’s Honor Camp and Sunny Day Camp. State Police Commissioner Colonel Robert Evanchick said that the programs were cancelled with the health and safety of all involved in mind, and they will resume in 2021.
Also cancelled this year was the 2020 Elmer Hafer American Legion State Police National Guard Youth Camp. That cancellation was announced earlier this month by the American Legion.
