The CDC is reporting, as of noon today, that a fourth death attributed to Covid-19 has occurred in Indiana County. The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Indiana County increased by two to 47.
Armstrong County’s total of confirmed cases increased to 36, while deaths remained at two. Jefferson County stayed at two confirmed cases and Cambria County jumped three confirmed cases to 17 but has reported only one death. Westmoreland County confirmed cases climbed to 280, with deaths at 13.
The CDC is also reporting that all four Indiana County deaths have occurred in nursing or personal care homes, with total cases at 11.
The number of confirmed cases in Pennsylvania passed the 30,000 plateau, with the number reaching 31,069 and deaths reaching 836, with 459 deaths in nursing or personal care homes. Eighty deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. The 26 to 49 year old age group has the most positive cases with 39 percent of the 31,069 confirmed cases.
While 31,069 tested positive in the state, 122,896 tested negative. In Indiana County, 410 have tested negative.
