The CDC is reporting, as of noon today, that a third death attributed to Covid-19 has occurred in Indiana County. The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Indiana County increased by one to 45.
Armstrong County’s total of confirmed cases remained at 32, but another death was reported, bringing the number to two, while Jefferson County stayed at two confirmed cases and Cambria County remained at 14 confirmed cases and one death. Westmoreland County confirmed cases climbed to 249, with deaths at 13.
The number of confirmed cases in Pennsylvania is approaching 30,000, with the number reaching 29,441, with deaths reaching 756. Forty nine deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. The 26 to 49 year old age group has the most positive cases with 40 percent of the 29,441 confirmed cases.
