Valerie Jo Lovejoy, 70, Indiana, died Tuesday, April 14, 2020 while at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, PA.
The daughter of Kenneth Hinick, Sr. and Marybelle (Beatty) and Walter Isenberg, she was born March 23, 1950 in Indiana, PA.
Valerie was a graduate of Indiana High School. She had many interests and skills that kept her busy such as crafting, sewing, crocheting, embroidering, quilting, and gardening. She very much enjoyed working outside in her yard planting and tending her flowers and was once an avid collector of porcelain dolls. She will be remembered as a loving and giving wife, mother, and grandmother and friend.
Surviving is her companion of 14 years, Donald Krimin; children, Derek Lovejoy, Matthew (Tammy) Lovejoy, and Melissa Lovejoy (Richard); seven grandchildren, Ashley, Katie, Shelby, Vincent, Kris, Amber, and Olivia; seven great grandchildren; four brothers, Kenneth (Susan) Hinick, Jr., Dan (Fran) Isenberg, Jeff (Evelyne) Isenberg, and Walter (Paul) Isenberg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Valerie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommy Dale Lovejoy; and a brother, Larry Isenberg.
Funeral arrangements will be private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
