State police report a burglary in Montgomery Township in which jewelry, guns, and a TV were stolen.
It happened March 6th at a home owned by a 77-year-old Clymer woman along Hazelet Church Road. Among the stolen items are an ivory necklace and earrings, a gold chain necklace, a Winchester scoped rifle, twelve-gauge double-barrel shotgun, a 22-caliber rifle and a 22-caliber pistol, and a 55-inch LG TV. The total value of the stolen items is $2,700. The burglar also caused $150 damage to the basement door, which was forced open in order to gain entry.
State police also say a thief gained access to the checking account and credit card information of a 33-year-old Homer City man. The theft occurred on April 4th. The amount stolen is not detailed.
