The operator of Martin’s supermarket in Indiana is tightening Covid-19-related restrictions on shopping at all of its stores.
The Giant Company on Saturday announced that starting today it will begin limiting the number of customers in each of its stores based on square footage. It is also beginning a one-entrance, one-exit policy, single-direction aisles, register queuing, and it will limit shopping parties to one person per household.
Giant on Friday announced a $250,000 emergency grant program in partnership with Team Pennsylvania to support small businesses in the state’s food supply chain. Giant, the state’s second-largest private employer, is accepting applications online through April 24th from any company, from family farms to local food artisans and manufacturers, impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
