The Indiana Area School District will hold its regular school board meeting tonight.
On the proposed agenda for tonight, the board will look to authorize signing all contracts associated with the East Pike Entranceway project. The contracts will be signed once all permits are awarded and each contractor submits a safety plan for working during the Covid-19 pandemic. That plan must meet all the requirements set up by the CDC and local code inspector. In connection with that project, the board will look to approve a bid for the HVAC contract.
Also on the proposed agenda will be approval of waiving the requirement for taking an AP exam in order for students to earn class weighting.
The board also looks to sign agreements with Adelphoi Village to provide a general alternative education program for the 2020-2021 school year, along with an agreement with CAMO for physical and occupational therapy, and an agreement for tele-therapy services to through the DotCom therapy company.
