The White Township Supervisors held their own virtual meeting yesterday and discussed possibly putting up security cameras at the township’s recreational facilities.
This comes after a reported vandalism at the Getty Heights Playground that caused $2000 worth of damage. Supervisors Chairman George Lenz said that he felt security cameras would help catch those responsible.
The supervisors approved having township manager Milt Lady look into the costs of installing security cameras at the facilities.
In other business, work on the Green Light Go project at the intersection of Warren Road, Ben Franklin Road and Indian Spring Road is suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Lady said that the project’s deadline, originally May 15th, would be extended, but the details on that have not been announced as of yet.
