State police say a 52-year-old Blairsville man is facing charges after they were summoned for a domestic incident and discovered a marijuana-growing operation.
Police were dispatched Friday afternoon to a home along Hafer Road in Derry Township. A 59-year-old Friedens woman reported that her brother had shoved her, and a neighbor intervened and was also shoved. While at the home, police found 10 marijuana plants growing inside the home and about 130 grams of processed marijuana, marijuana grow lights, and drug paraphernalia.
Charges of possession/manufacture of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, and summary harassment are pending. The suspect has not been publicly identified.
