It was another busy day for first responders, especially two fire companies who were called out to help with a structure fire in Cambria County.
Indiana County 911 reports that at 11:02 last night, Cherry Tree and Commodore fire department was called out to a structure fire in the 1000 block of Philadelphia Avenue. Commodore fire department said that the fire was in a commercial building, but it’s not known at this time what building it was. Clymer Fire Department would be called out at 11:10 PM to standby for Commodore fire department.
Another brush fire was reported on Thursday, marking the 30th brush fire this year. The fire was reported on Park avenue in Pine Township. Pine Township and Nicktown fire departments were called out to fight the fire at 5:27 PM.
And Armagh and Clyde fire departments were called out at 2:59 PM for a vehicle fire on Rager Road in East Wheatfield Township.
