Indiana County’s Health and Human Services Subcommittee is putting out a call for items that some of their agencies need as the Covid-19 Outbreak continues.
According to an announcement on the subcommittee’s Facebook page, while some supplies have been distributed by the Indiana County Emergency Management Agency, they are also receiving requests for items that they don’t have in stock. The request for donations went out yesterday, and some of the initial requests include splash shields, individual hand sanitizers, surgical masks and gowns, and disinfecting wipes. The items would go to agencies like police, fire and ambulance services along with pediatric clinics and other human service agencies.
Tom Stutzman of the Indiana County Emergency Management Agency, said that the county is not going to outright seek donations.
