CLYMER BOROUGH POLICE
Police in Clymer are reporting a string of vehicle vandalism that happened between 2 AM and Noon on Monday. Police say that three vehicles within Clymer Borough were found with damage to their glass and paint. One vehicle parked in the 400 block of Walcott Street had damage to the rear window from an apparent pellet gun shot. A second vehicle was damaged on 4th Street between Walcott and Hancock, less than a block away from the first vehicle, and the damage was done by a large rock. The third vehicle, found on Adams Street, had severe damage to the rear window. Anyone with information or camera footage near these areas is asked to call police in Clymer at 724-254-0714.
Clymer Borough Police made a drug bust during a traffic stop on Monday night. Police say they pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of 6th Street and Sherman Street. A 25-year-old man from Commodore, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was searched and found in possession of drug paraphernalia for ingesting methamphetamine. The driver, a 36-year-old woman from Commodore could face DUI-Controlled Substance charges pending the results of a blood test.
