In Indiana County Court yesterday, Judge Michael Clark handed down sentences to two defendants.
One of those cases originated in 2011 for a crime committed in December of 2010. 28-year-old Cory Lonsinger, who is from Latrobe, pleaded guilty in 2012 to statutory sexual assault and was sentenced to 9 to 23 months in prison plus five years of probation. In 2013 he withdrew that plea but later pleaded guilty again. Since then his probation has been revoked multiple times.
Judge Clark sentenced Lonsinger to 1 to 2 years imprisonment at SCI Camp Hill, to run concurrently with other sentences he is already serving. In 2017, he pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property in Westmoreland County Court and was sentenced to 11-and-a-half months to 23 months in prison. Last year, he pleaded guilty again in Westmoreland County, this time to robbery, and was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison.
Also yesterday, Judge Clark revoked the parole in three cases against 31-year-old Jeramiah Weaver of Blairsville. Two of those are criminal trespass cases, and the other is for theft.
