Three defendants are scheduled for sentencing in Indiana County Court today, two of whom will plead guilty and then be sentenced. One will be sentenced for a previous guilty plea.
38-year-old Leslie Decharles Evans of Homer City pleaded guilty in January to felony driving under the influence (third offense) and will be sentenced by Judge Thomas Bianco.
Judge Bianco will also hear a plea from 35-year-old Daniel Wertzel of Mahaffey, for a 2016 DUI case. Among the charges are driving under the influence (third offense) and DUI controlled substance (second offense).
And the judge will hear a DUI plea from and sentence 28-year-old Devin Butler of Indiana. Butler is also scheduled for probation revocation from two previous cases, for receiving stolen property and for possession with intent to deliver.
