The Steelers have made some roster moves as they have signed tight end Eric Ebron to a two-year-contract. The 6-foot-4 253 pounder is coming off an injury-shortened season with Indianapolis but was a pro-bowler in 2018, setting a career high of 66 catches for 750 yards and 13 touchdowns. He is expected to give a much needed target for Ben Roethlisberger in short-yardage pass situations, especially in the red zone.
The Steelers also acquired defensive lineman Chris Wormley and a 2021 seventh round draft pick from the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for a 2021 ninth-round pick. Wormley was a third-round draft pick for the Ravens in 2017 and is entering the final year of his rookie contract. He can play defensive end and nose tackle. He is expected to ease the pressure on defense with the departure of Javon Hargrave in Free Agency.
