IUP is continuing preparation for the switch over to digital education for the rest of the semester.
In a video released on the IUP YouTube channel, President Michael Driscoll said he was happy with how many people at IUP are responding as they deal with Covid-19. It was announced earlier this month that all face-to-face classes for the spring semester would be cancelled and moved to remote instruction. Driscoll said that some creative solutions are being found for education that is not readily adaptable to remote instruction.
Driscoll added that construction projects on-campus will also be put on hold.
He also announced that IUP’s alumni and friends have established an emergency fund for students affected by the Coronavirus who may need assistance.
