State police have charged three Indiana County men who are allegedly involved in a cocaine distribution ring.
Police say 49-year-old Tres Frederick Lawer of Indiana, 56-year-old Glenn Daryl Watkins of Clymer, and 27-year-old Zachary Mark Davis of Graceton were arraigned yesterday in front of District Judge Susanne Steffee with felony counts of Corrupt Organizations, Drug Delivery and Conspiracy to that offense, along with a misdemeanor charge of drug possession. Lawer and Davis were also charged with felony criminal use of a communications facility and Lawer was also charged with felony dealing in the proceeds of unlawful activity.
The investigation started in January of 2018, with members of the Troop A Vice Unit working undercover to purchase cocaine in a bar-restaurant in White Township. Troopers learned that the money was later laundered through the bar to purchase the cocaine.
Lawer and Davis are free on $50,000 bail, while Watkins was remanded to Indiana County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. Preliminary hearings for all three are set for May 12th at 1:15 PM.
