Downtown Indiana’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and affiliated events have been cancelled due to concerns over Covid-19.
In a statement released late this morning, Downtown Indiana, in coordination with Indiana Borough, its administration and the borough police department, the decision was made to cancel the annual parade. In a statement, Linda Mitchell said that “Together we are committed to the health, well-being and safety of our residents and guests.”
They say they are following CDC and PA Department of Health guidelines that include limiting large gatherings.
