On Wednesday, The Indiana County Commissioners approved updates to the Pandemic Response Plan for the county.
Tom Stutzman of the County’s Emergency Management Agency said that the Pandemic Planning Committee met over revise and update the plan with information from the CDC and the state department of health. Stutzman said that the main change will make it effective for any pandemic that may come out.
The plan will be made available online through the Emergency Management Agency website.
In other business, the commissioners approved a resolution and cooperation agreement with ICCAP for the 2020 emergency solutions grant program, and authorized filing for the 2020 Emergency Solutions Grant with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. The board also proclaimed March as Women’s History month and April as both Child Abuse Prevention month and Pennsylvania 811 Safe Digging month.
