ROBERT L. GATES SR., 59 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA
passed away on Monday, March 09, 2020 at his home. He was born June 26, 1960 in Indiana, PA. Robert was a member of the Blairsville Eagles and former Blairsville Italian Club. He enjoyed his Grandkids and enjoyed tinkering in his garage and with his cars. He is survived by his son, Robert L. Gates Jr. & wife, Emily, Blairsville, PA; grandchildren: Bryce, Kendall, Harlynn & Presleigh; aunt, Dorothy Novak, Homer City, PA; aunt, Betty Capitosti & husband, James, Homer City, PA and also numerous Cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Gates; son, Chad M. Gates in 2016; grandmother, Mary Gates, aunt, Shirley Gaston & husband, Rudy; aunt, Catherine Chronosky & husband, Happy; uncle, Charles Novak and cousin, Jimmy Capitosti, Jr. The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717,Blairsville, PA on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Dan Cunkelman will officiate. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
