Last night, the Purchase Line School Board hired coaches and approved new uniforms.
The board approved renewing the contract of head football coach Matt Falisec at Monday’s meeting, and they hired Karen Woods as the head volleyball coach and Karen Conrad as the cross-country coach.
When the football and volleyball teams play next season, they will do so wearing new uniforms. The board approved purchasing the new uniforms for the football team from BSN Sports at a costs of $13,081. The volleyball uniforms were approved at a cost of $2,485.
The board also considered the first reading of a revised policy for distribution and posting of materials, dealing with non-school organizations and boosters band parent groups. The Purchase Line Sports Boosters were given approval to use the high school gym with a waiver of fees for the 4th grade girls basketball tournament.
The board also agreed to purchase 12 wireless access points for e-rated funded technology at a cost of $8,145.
