The Pittsburgh Penguins dropped their eighth game in the last 10 with a 6-2 defeat at the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes Sunday in Pittsburgh.
Patrick Marleau and Evgeni Malkin scored for the Pens, who play Tuesday night in New Jersey in the first of three straight road games.
