The Indiana Area School Board meets tonight, with a number of personnel items on the agenda, and action expected on several other issues.
One of those actions is the awarding of contracts for the East Pike entranceway project. The board will vote on motions to approve CNC Construction as the general contractor, Baer Services for plumbing, and A&MP Electric for the electrical work.
The school board will also vote on a new contract with Buchart Horn Architects as the district’s Architect of Record.
Also tonight, the board will consider the listings of $963,279 in unpaid real estate taxes that have been liened. That total includes more than $494,000 in White Township, over $284,000 in Indiana Borough, more than $174,000 in Armstrong Township, and more than $8,000 in Shelocta Borough.
Purchase Line’s school board also is scheduled to meet tonight. The district has not published the agenda.
At last week’s work session the board set an agenda for tonight that includes officially hiring head coaches for football, volleyball, and cross country.
The board is also expected to approve its contribution to the ARIN operating budget, and the purchase of new football and volleyball uniforms.
