VIRGINIA “GINGER” (MONTEON) SCHWEIZER, 62 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA
passed away on Friday, March 06, 2020 at her home. She was born January 14, 1958 in Hollywood, CA. Ginger was a member of SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville. She was a graduate and honor student of Blairsville High School Class of 1976. She had worked in the X-ray department for Excela Health and in the Emergency Room. She had also worked for the Arnold Palmer Cancer Center and the former K-mart in Latrobe. Virginia is survived by her mother, Emma G. Montgomery Riggi, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Jodi Schweizer & Brandi, Scottdale, PA; son, Scott Schweizer, Derry, PA; grand son, Riley , Greensburg, PA; brother, Bryan Monteon & wife, Teresa, GA; niece, Lindsey Monteon; niece, Lauren Holder & husband, Heath and niece, Kelly Munshower. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Schweizer and step-father, Louis Riggi. The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717,Blairsville, PA on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A blessing service will be held at 8:00 PM with Fr. Stephen R.
