At last night’s Indiana Borough Agenda Planning Meeting, borough council discussed some possible changes to a borough ordinance concerning animals.
One of the changes would be to an article concerning feral and community cats, and a change would be to have the borough take part in a trap-neuter-return program. Borough Council member Jonathan Warnock explained the program.
The other article that they are looking at would be to allow chickens to be kept in the borough under specific circumstances, but concerns were brought up about what to do with stray chickens.
Both articles will be on the agenda for the next borough council meeting for approval for advertisement.
The borough is also expected to approve a resolution promoting the U.S. Census.
