Christine “Posie” Rose Adams Jack passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a battle with leukemia that she ultimately lost.
She was born on July 15, 1970, in Elmira, NY, to Homer and the late Carol (Glance) Adams.
Posie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was employed as a cake baker at the Indiana Walmart. She is most well known for her loving childcare to many, many children, in some cases, multiple generations of the same family.
In addition to her father Homer Adams, Christine was survived by two sisters: Tina Marie Adams of Blacklick and Violet P. (Matthew Hodgson) Adams of Indiana; two very special nephews, John and Joshuah Hodgson both of Indiana, as well as five aunts and one uncle.
Besides her mother Carol, Posie is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, four uncles and four aunts.
Family will receive friends at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1580 Old Rt 119, Indiana on Friday, March 6, 2020, from 3-7 PM and on Saturday, March 7, 2020, from 11 AM -12 noon with a service immediately following with branch president Glen Ishoy presiding. Private burial will be made in Luther Chapel Cemetery, Coral.
