In Indiana County Court there are a number of Plea Court appearances on the schedule today.
They include three proceedings for 30-year-old Gina Marie Hewitt of Torrance. She’s charged in one case with possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia; in a second case with those same two offenses plus false identification to law enforcement; and in a third case with theft.
35-year-old Jason Dale Wickens of Johnstown has also opted for Plea Court in three separate cases. He’s charged with possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia, and with disorderly conduct; and with two counts of retail theft in each of the other two cases.
55-year-old Willie Eugene Caldwell Jr. of Clymer is scheduled for two Plea Court appearances today. In one, dating from last October, he’s charged with open lewdness, indecent exposure, and disorderly conduct. In the other, dating from November, the charges are open lewdness, harassment, defiant trespass, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, and disturbing the peace.
23-year-old Hailey Paige Rose of Blairsville will appear in Plea Court to answer charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft.
39-year-old Jennifer Marie Johnson of Indiana will plead to charges of theft of leased property and conspiracy to the same offense.
24-year-old Ashley Nicole Ribet of Blairsville will plead to two charges of theft.
24-year-old Brandon Laroy Franklin of Detroit, Michigan will be sentenced today for a previous guilty plea to retail theft.
20-year-old Semaj Tyrel Lester, a prison inmate from Franklin County, will have a non-jury trial before Judge Michael Clark today for aggravated harassment by a prisoner.
