State police are beginning to accept applications for the 2020 Camp Cadet.
Camp Cadet is scheduled for July 19th to the 25th at Camp Seph Mack in Penn Run, and once again is for kids ages 12 to 15 who have an interest in a career in law enforcement. Participants will get a first-hand experience at several branches of police and military activity, and will work with first responders, law enforcement officers and other agencies to learn investigative techniques. The cadets will be challenged physically and mentally as they engage in team-building exercises, generate self-confidence and leadership qualities, go through obstacle courses and explore law enforcement-related topics and skills.
Applications can be picked up at the Indiana barracks of the State Police on Fenton Road, or you can get an application at their website, www.indianacountycampcadet.org. Applications are due by May 1st.
