IUP will host a panel to discuss diversity and inclusion issues in mid-March.
The panel will be held from 2-4 PM at the KCAC on March 18th and will feature:
- IUP Graduate Debra-Evans Smith, the former Deputy Assistant Director for the FBI
- IUP Graduate Mauro Wolfe, an attorney and partner in the law firm of Duwane Morris of New York City
- Lonie Haynes, the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Highmark Health in Pittsburgh
IUP’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Elise Glenn will serve as a moderator
The first part of the presentation will be a panel discussion that will lead to break-out sessions afterwards. The topics of the break-out sessions will cover what diversity means to everyone, the value of diversity and how to create a culture of change.
The event is designed to benefit not just IUP students, but all members of IUP and the community at-large. It is free to attend and is open to the public.
