Indiana Fire Association was dispatched on Monday for an unusual rescue call.
Indiana County 911 reported that the fire department was called out for a physical rescue to the White’s Woods Area at 5:26 PM. According to a Facebook post, a teenager had tried to sit in a swing that was meant for a toddler, and got stuck. The first crews got the teen to stand on a nearby trash can to ease the tension on the chains. Another rescue crew came by with the tools needed to take the swing off its chains, but the swing was still stuck on the teenager. Rescue squad members had to use weed trimmer string and then tin snips to cut the swing away.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
