The Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the Washington Capitals, 5-3, on Sunday afternoon, and the Capitals regained first place in the Metropolitan Division from the Penguins.
The Capitals rallied in the third period with four goals.
Evgeni Malkin, Sidney Crosby and Patric Hornqvist scored for the Penguins.
