In Indiana County Court today, five defendants are scheduled for sentencing. Four of them are for guilty pleas to theft. The other is a drug defendant.
23-year-old Solomon Patrick Carter, formerly of Indiana and now listed as living in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, pleaded guilty in December to felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. The charges were filed last August by Indiana Borough Police after an investigation that began in November of 2018, involving an incident in May of that year.
The theft defendants who will be sentenced include 33-year-old Patrick Palmer of Seward, 45-year-old Samuel Kralick of Aultman, 36-year-old Justin Spiaggi of Indiana, and 40-year-old Amanda Mack of Ebensburg.
Spiaggi and Mack both pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property; Kralick to retail theft; Palmer to theft by unlawful taking.
