Kaul Ellen McGaughey, 84, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 while at St. Andrew’s Village.
The daughter of Paul Elgin and Katherine Esther (Thunhurst) Rhea, she was born December 12, 1935.
Kaul enjoyed playing bingo, talking with friends, dancing, and taking walks. She was a friend to all and will be remembered as a loving mother.
Surviving are her children, Paul Rhea, Tom McGaughey, Frank McGaughey, Kathy (Bob) Pardee, Mary McGaughey, and Lucinda (Russell) Stiffler and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Kaul was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Chevy Chase Community Center.
Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
