The Penns Manor School Board approved paying their share of the ARIN operating budget at their meeting last night.
Penns Manor’s share of the ARIN budget comes to $22,515, which is a drop in $438 from last year. ARIN’s operating budget tops out at $3,507,939.
The board also approved several programs, including ARIN’s Pregnant and Parenting program, the Alpha program from the Community Guidance center which provides mental health therapy and academic assistance to students, and Wilson Language Training to provide materials and professional learning to implement their Fundations curriculum.
The board also agreed to advertise for sale the former Alverda Elementary School property. The land was deemed unused and unnecessary, as it has sat vacant.
