Four fire departments were called out early this morning for a garage fire in Burrell Township.
Indiana County 911 reports that Blairsville, Black Lick, Coral-Graceton and Homer City fire departments were called out at 3:05 this morning to a location on Route 119. A representative of the Black Lick fire department said the fire was south of Black Lick near the old Keeper of the Flame location, in a 10 x 40 detached garage. Crews were able to bring the fire under control within 10 minutes after they arrived on the scene.
Damage was minimal and should be able to be fixed. Fire officials say that the fire started as the occupant of the garage was working on a demo car when the welder caught the garage on fire. No injuries were reported.
