He’s not said what his topic will be, but State System of Higher Education Chancellor Dan Greenstein will be visiting IUP again this spring in what has become a once-per-semester tour of all fourteen state-owned universities.
Greenstein began the tours shortly after taking office in 2018 and has kept it up since. He will begin the tour with visits to Shippensburg and West Chester on February 27th and 28th. Then about a month later, he will visit East Stroudsburg and Kutztown before accelerating the schedule in April, when he will visit the ten remaining campuses. He is scheduled to be at IUP on April 27th.
No doubt, the chancellor will have much to say about the State System Redesign and his hopes for a legislative reform package introduced last month by members of the House Education Committee.
If he follows the format of his previous campus visits, the chancellor will meet with key members of the administration, faculty, and student population, and conduct an open forum for all members of the community.
