The Indiana Area School Board will meet tonight with an agenda that looks forward to the next school year.
There are a number of personnel moves and policy decisions on the meeting schedule, including the retirement resignation of the Junior High School Assistant Principal. Marilyn Walther’s retirement will take effect on July 6th.
The board will also vote on a motion to retain the firm of Buchart Horn Architects as the district’s architect of record for all new projects. It will also act on a recommendation to appoint Greg Trout and Chaney Woodring as construction managers for the East Pike Entrance Way and High School Life Skills/Chairlift projects.
Also on the agenda tonight is the approval of the ARIN Intermediate Unit General Operating Budget, which totals $3,507,939 for the next fiscal year. Indiana Area’s portion of that budget is estimated at $154,966.
The Purchase Line School Board also will meet tonight. They have not published their agenda.
