The longtime Dean of IUP’s Eberly College of Business and Information Technology has announced his retirement.
Robert C. Camp, who has served as dean over the last 32 years has decided to step down at the end of the school year. Camp was hired by IUP to help lead the business school to accreditation from the Association to Advance College Schools of Business, and that accreditation was achieved in 2001, and the school has maintained their accreditation status since then. He also was involved in the creation of the School of International Management, expansion of academic programs to include a doctorate in business, expansion of international partnerships including offshore delivery of graduate programs, and expanding the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology Business Advisory Council to include over 70 alumni and business professionals.
Camp will remain with IUP as he will become a faculty member of the IUP Department of Management.
