State police are investigating an incident involving a bad check. Troopers say this happened on January 28th in Creekside Borough. An suspect known to police wrote out a check for $2930, but told the victim, identified only as a 51-year-old Creekside woman, that their bank wouldn’t cash the check. The victim took it to their bank, had it cashed, then turned the money back over to the suspect.
State police are asking the public to help identify some individuals that vandalized a home in White Township. Police say that on January 17th around 3:45 PM, an unknown person or persons used some rocks found in the driveway to damage three panels of vinyl siding at a home on Philadelphia Street.
