It’s another busy day today in Indiana County Court, where numerous defendants are scheduled to plead and be sentenced in driving under the influence cases, and some others will be sentenced in drug cases.
One of the defendants scheduled for a guilty plea to DUI is 23-year-old Nicholas Leone of Creekside, who is also involved in another case in the court system…he is one of two defendants charged in a series of arson fires in December of 2018 and January of last year.
Another of the DUI defendants is 53-year-old Steven John Tatar of East Vandergrift, who in addition to driving under the influence also pleaded guilty to recklessly endangering and to criminal mischief. Charges of aggravated assault and aggravated assault by vehicle will not be prosecuted.
27-year-old Zachary Mark Davis of Graceton will be sentenced for felony possession with intent to deliver. In a separate case, he will also be sentenced for misdemeanor possession.
34-year-old Michael Steffish III of Indiana will be sentenced for theft.
