The IUP men’s and women’s basketball teams each scored 82 points and kept their respective winning streaks going in a sweep of Clarion Saturday night at the KCAC.
The women started the doubleheader with an 82-50 victory, and the men followed with an 82-71 win. The women extended their winning streak to 16 games, tying a program record, and the men took their streak to eight wins.
The women trailed Clarion, 13-11, after one quarter, but the Crimson Hawks overwhelmed the Golden Eagles in the second and fourth quarters, 27-14 and 26-7, respectively.
