As the snow started to hit the area yesterday, emergency crews were called out to four reported vehicle accidents.
The string of crashes started at 5:17 PM with a crash on Route 553 in Pine Township, with the Pine Township firefighters called out to the scene.
Twenty-one minutes later, a crash was reported on Route 286 East in Cheryhill Township. Clymer and Cherryhill Township fire departments were called to the scene.
And nearly an hour after that, Homer City Fire department was called out for a crash on Johnson Road.
Indiana County 911 also said that a vehicle accident was reported on Richmond Road in East Mahoning Township at 10 PM. Marion Center Fire Department officials said that one person was trapped in their small SUV, but they were able to get the driver out with little to no injuries.
