Three motions hearings for 19-year-old arson defendant Dylan Dalessio are still listed on today’s Indiana County Court schedule, but they are not likely to happen. Judge Thomas Bianco last week granted a defense request for a continuance of the hearings. They were originally scheduled for January 6th, then rescheduled for today. On January 8th, Judge Bianco issued his ruling, but no new hearing date has been published.
Former firefighters Dalessio and Nicholas Leone are charged in three arson fires…the burnings of a barn along Route 954 in Creekside on December 21st 2018, a storage building at Whitaker and Rudolph Roads in West Mahoning Township eight days later, and an Amish furniture store in North Mahoning Township last January 25th.
Meanwhile, there’s a Plea Court appearance scheduled today for Dylan Dalessio’s 22-year-old brother, Devin, who is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment – all misdemeanors – for allegedly threatening to kill 31-year-old Chad Fetterhoff of Punxsutawney last September.
57-year-old David Oswalt Sr. of Clymer will appear in court today to plead to 92 criminal offenses, all related to accusations that he had sexual relations with a girl between five and ten times, starting when she was 14 years old and ending when she was 15. Police say he paid the girl for sex.
Plea Court will also be held today for 35-year-old Charles Bradley Dukes of Strongstown, who is charged in nine separate burglary cases. Dukes has a long history of theft and burglary cases going all the way back to 2005 in Indiana County.
20-year-old Samantha Lee Silvis of Homer City will appear in Plea Court today to answer charges of endangering the welfare of children and simple assault.
