The Indiana County Commissioners on Wednesday approved a contract modification for the 2018 Community Development Block Grant Funding for Burrell Township.
The modification will remove phase one of the Marshall Heights Storm Sewer Water System Construction that was originally on the schedule and move the $36,500 slated for that project to the Campbell Mills-Falling Run Road Water Service Extension Project. LuAnn Zak of the office of planning and development said that community leaders wanted to see the Falling Run Road project completed first.
In other business, the commissioners said they were very proud of all of those who work on the Ghost Town Trail, which was recently named the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources trail of the year. They also announced that a special dedication ceremony for the trail will be held later this year.
