After taking a year off from coaching, Indiana High School and IUP grad Frank Cignetti Jr. has been named the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach at Boston College.
Current head coach Jeff Hafley and Cignetti worked together at Pitt in 2009-2010 under head coach Dave Wannstedt. Most recently Cignetti was the QB coach for Mike McCarthy with the Green Bay Packers in 2018.
McCarthy, a Pittsburgh native, was just hired as the Dallas Cowboys head coach.
