Few details are available on a fire that happened last night in Montgomery Township.
Indiana County 911 reported that Cherry Tree, Glen Campbell, Commodore, Hope, and Mahaffey fire departments along with Citizens Ambulance and the RIT team were dispatched for a house fire at 8:01 PM on Cherry Tree Road. Commodore firefighters would later be put on standby for Cherry Tree Fire Department.
Initial reports say that the fire was knocked down within an hour, but the home was fully involved by the time fire crews got there. No word yet on the cause of the fire or if anyone got out of the house.
