Steelers Coach Mike Tomlin will conduct his final news conference of the season at noon today on the South Side.
Tomlin’s team missed the playoffs for the second year in a row and enters an offseason filled with uncertainty, with questions along the offensive line and at virtually every position on offense. The biggest question of all will have to wait for an answer…it’s whether or not Ben Roethlisberger can come back next season after elbow surgery. Big Ben played only a game-and-a-half this year before needing surgery to reattach three elbow tendons.
Quarterback Mason Rudolph is facing 6 to 8 weeks of rehab after having a surgical chest procedure to reduce his sternoclavicular bone. He was injured in the next-to-last game of the season against the Jets.
