State police crime reports include an investigation of the alleged abuse of a 3-year-old girl in Carrolltown, Cambria County. Police from the Indiana barracks are investigating the incident after having been summoned on Sunday evening. They’ve released no other details.
Police say a handgun is missing from a pickup truck owned by a Green Township woman. She initially reported the truck as stolen on December 3rd but police determined that she had been allowing certain individuals to use it. She also told police she cannot locate her purple Ruger Southport handgun, model CT EC9S. The gun is valued at $350.
No details are available on the theft of a drill from a vehicle in Center Township. State police say it was reported December 7th by a 62-year-old Lucernemines man. The drill is a Hitochi brand, valued at $90.
State police were called to United High School on November 24th for a cellphone theft. A 13-year-old girl had placed her phone on charge in a hallway and left the area. Surveillance video shows a known juvenile who took the phone, then removed and damaged the sim card. The damaged phone is valued at $399.
